Because my mom passed away 6 months after my birth, I have had a difficult life. First, I lived with my father who was an alcoholic. He passed away when I was 4 years old and I lived with my grandmother. The most difficult time I experienced was when my grandmother passed away. I lost hope. The time I felt most proud of myself was when I acknowledged that I deserve to win, no matter what happens. My parents lived their life and now it is my turn to live.
My happiest moment was when I had the opportunity to study at a school free of fees. Yeah, I was really happy.

My dreams have always been clear. I want to be a quantity surveyor so that I can be an inspiration to other people who come from difficult families. For that, I’m investing much time in learning. My all-time hope is that WEF will grow and reach every part of Tanzania and Africa. I just want to be part of WEF for my entire life, and specifically I want to be part of my community’s development. In my entire career, I’ll make that my first priority.

Honestly, if I had power to change my country, I would change people's capacity for thinking. I would keep people out of evil and take away negativities towards success. I would let people know the power of acknowledging success., I know if people will think of success, speak of success, then success will come.

Rural – urban migration has been a main feature of migration in Tanzania for many years. The increase in rural –urban migration has led to increasing rate of urbanization, especially in major urban centers like Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, Mwanza, and Arusha. The proportion if population living in urban areas increased from 5 percent in 1967 to 13 in 1978 and 21 percent in 1988. Between 1978 and 1988, the urban population for Tanzania increased by 53 percent. These are variations alone contained about 25 percent of the total urban population in 1988. The unprecedented migration of people from rural areas increase the burden on already over- loaded public services and social infrastructure especially in the squatter areas, which stimulate the flourishment of communicable diseases like tuberculosis, cholera and malaria. Rural –rural migration also contributes to the regional and district level variations in terms of population pressure over resources. These variations are demonstrated by differences in population densities between districts, wards and villages. The general observation is that population increase has not been in line with the land area available for human use.
