I remember it was 2019 that I started form one class and I started with a good performance. In May I was among the students in our class that were chosen to get prepared for an interview to join the Tanzania school fund. It was like I was dreaming.
After a holiday in July our head of school gave us ten story books to read and to answer questions that were found in those books. The aim was to improve our grammar and to create confidence to speak in front of people. He also did some interviews with us. In August Madam Judy came to our school to interview us. I was the fourth student to be interviewed and it was my first time to be interviewed by a person from outside of our country (foreigner), and it was my first time to meet white people face to face but I performed well during the interview.
After an interview we were told to wait for the results, after a few days our teacher told us that we passed the interview. I was happy to be a member of the Tanzania school fund. Being a member of the Tanzania school fund motivated me to study and to work hard in my life, because I knew if you work hard people will be attracted by your efforts and they will be motivated to support you in your studies or in your activities. Support from Madam Judy motivated me to study hard in order to reach my goals so that I become capable of helping my parents and people around me.
My thanks to Madam Judy and to her team is to perform well in my studies and to help people around me to show that her support to me is also a support to people around me.
