The biggest obstacle that my brother and I have encountered is that of family separation. This happened a long time ago but it's still affecting everyone in our family. To me as the only daughter in our family it made a very great set back in my development especially the time that I really needed my mother to be beside me but it couldn't happen because of the separation they had, we had some problems in communication and I was very young to know what to do. I was only 6 years old when she went away. This makes me think that I couldn't pass any challenge especially when seeing my fellow children with their mother. It was a very painful experience as we didn't have our mom around to share our problems with. Our father was busy with his work and sometimes came home late and very tired so we knew better not to disturb him.
But despite all these challenges we had to fight so as to rise up again. From this experience I have learned that I should be strong and that in life there are many obstacles which tend to make you a better person. Also, when I become a parent one day, I should always make sure that I need to give them mother's love, which I experienced a little of it. And this is why I am studying very hard so as to make everyone proud of me one day.
