Though my journey hasn't been easy I am happy and proud of myself that I never gave up even in the most difficult times. My mom has been my second pillar after God being my first pillar. In my life I have experienced more pain than happiness because of my background. I am raised by a single mother I know the pain of not getting everything you would want and the pain of having to accept you can't have everything. The feelings make me push harder and want success so bad.
My most difficult experience is when my mother had no job and she is everything around the house that she is paying rent, buying food, and meeting all the requirements including paying my school fees. My mom was so helpless that she even lost hope and decided we would go live with her mother (my grandmother). I learnt that giving up is never and will never be an option and I will never give up on life because I know it's just a phase of life that I must go through for preparation of new beginnings and a new chapter is about to start. Even when it rains the sun will still shine.
A moment when I felt proud of myself was when I had to hustle and help my mother to pay several debts we owed. For me this was special because it was proof that I always got her back and that she is not alone in this. The hustle made me realize that if I just lay down and wait for success it can never find me so I must be able to push myself and be my own hero in my book called life.
The happiest moment was when I was able to join a college to continue with my studies. My whole family contributed to their ability and I was able to join for the first term. My reason to be happy was because my mom and I were stranded due to financial reasons and God used our family as his vessel.
It was good though I had to miss a few classes due to financial reasons. Bathing with cold water was another challenge and besides this the reading was not as easy as it seemed. Generally, I enjoyed my high school.
My dream is to become a professional teacher and nurturing young learners to perfection. I am going to work hard and smart and pray more that God gives me a longer life to achieve my goal.
I am going to support my family and for my community I will be sure to not only be just a teacher but teacher with development. For WEF, I will participate in helping them in nurturing young learners.
If I had power to change my country, I would change the way of giving out bursaries in the communities because the targeted group (unable/poor) to be offered the bursaries usually they are always disadvantaged unless they are connected to a source somewhere.

The term had been tough at school due to the pandemic and its measures back there at school, but we managed to cope up with it and come to the end of it with a zero Covid-19 case. In terms of academics it was not a walk in the park since resuming back to normality was a big task and therefore the teachers had to organize counseling sessions for us to overcome the dilemma that was into our minds due to the fear that Covid-19 had caused and also due to the long holiday. On matters of examinations, I managed to score a ‘‘B plain’’ this was an achievement since most of the students didn’t get a chance to score what they always scored. That was In the opener examinations and it was understandable since the reason was obvious,[The pandemic].In the end term examinations after we had chosen our subjects I managed to get a ‘B-‘, which I didn’t expect to get but after consultation from the teachers it was made clear that the grading system was high so that we could work more harder than we usually do. In terms of school fees, there is no much to talk about since most of it was paid therefore I didn’t experience a hard time in school and the reason was due to the subsidy that I got from you, W.E.F together with U-TENA youth organization, thanks for that .As the schools are about to open I look forward to working more harder since I have my National examinations next year.
I am thankful to you and I will always be thankful to you always, you are an angel sent to us from heaven. You help for paying our school fees has decreased our parents from stress.
