Jayson Anyanga
Coming from a humble background has never been easy, which has made me realize that no matter where you come from your dreams are valued. I did not perform well in my primary national examination and my father was not proud but he encouraged me to move on and I learned that everything happens for a reason. Since then, I have been working hard and doing my best in school and I attained a B-. My father was proud of my accomplishment. When U-TENA selected me to be part of the World Education Fund, the most memorable and happiest thing which helped me to stay in school was the most memorable and happiest thing. Their support was of much help and pushed me to study hard.
At first in high school the experience was difficult because of the lack of school fees. The mentorship that U-TENA provided for us during holidays helps me a lot in school. I wanted to become a neural surgeon but I didn't attain the perfect grade but now I am studying pharmaceutical technology. When I graduate, I will advance to neural surgeon.
When I reach my dream, I will tend to help families which are financially unstable. I will start an organization which will make teenagers focus on important things in life.
I would like to change the high cost of living and help to eradicate poverty in our society.
