Back in primary school my mom had to struggle to get money to pay my school fees, she had to do all sorts of jobs so that I got to stay in school. I watched her do all this to provide for my basic needs and keep me in school. From this experience I learnt that parents go through a lot for their children and it is our job to study hard so that we can repay them in the future.
I felt proud of myself the moment I learnt that I had passed my KCSE examinations and had qualified to join university. It was the greatest achievement of my life. My high school life was a little bit easier since U-TENA and WEF helped me with school fees payment.
My dream is to become a successful man and help others who are bright in my community also to become successful through education. Currently I am doing my degree course and after I graduate hopefully, my dreams will become reality. After I reach my dream, I want to open a school where the less fortunate will be able to get free education in partnership with U-TENA and WEF.
If I had power to change my country, I would change the education system in a way that everyone would be able to get free education so that potential may be exhausted.
