Back in primary school my mom had to struggle to get money to pay my school fees, she had to do all sorts of jobs so that I got to stay in school. I watched her do all this to provide for my basic needs and keep me in school. From this experience I learnt that parents go through a lot for their children and it is our job to study hard so that we can repay them in the future.
I felt proud of myself the moment I learnt that I had passed my KCSE examinations and had qualified to join university. It was the greatest achievement of my life. My high school life was a little bit easier since U-TENA and WEF helped me with school fees payment.
My dream is to become a successful man and help others who are bright in my community also to become successful through education. Currently I am doing my degree course and after I graduate hopefully, my dreams will become reality. After I reach my dream, I want to open a school where the less fortunate will be able to get free education in partnership with U-TENA and WEF.
If I had power to change my country, I would change the education system in a way that everyone would be able to get free education so that potential may be exhausted.

I am in Dr kiano high school. Am truly thankful to the world education fund for the support in my school education.
They have really supported me in times that I was in need and I am truly thankfully for that was in need and If it was not for world education fund the academic year would not have been succefull.iam truly thankfull. The partnership of U- tena has been hosting mentorship programs for us and also help us in doing our holiday assignment. I have also gotten mental support from U-tena to overcome the black hole that had been brought by covid 19 U- tena has been one of my pillars in high school education and am so thankful. I pray and protect our donors so that they can continue blessing us.
School had its fare share of bad moments and good moment’s .The hard part of it was dissolving back to school and getting my mind back to class. I had a hard time dissolving back but with the help of our teachers and the mentorship I had gone through from U tena ,I managed. I also had a non stressful time because the burden of paying fees had been eased by the World Education Fund. I expect school life to be easier because I had passed the hard part which was dissolving back to school after the long holiday of about an year. I also have plans of getting better grades because there will be nothing to worry about.
