I hope you are all fine, I am currently conducting my field programme that will take two months. I work and learn at the IT department in Manyara district council and most of the activities so far have been maintenance of computers and printers but I hope I will do more activities in networking and app development.

It’s my hope your absolute fine in my side I am fine too. Today I want to share about Incidence of the earth quick. The earth quick these is the sudden earth movements caused by vibrations in the earth’s crust. They are said to be caused by the development of faults in the crust resulting from different plates colliding and the movement of molten rock due to great pressure sometimes earth quicks can be caused by a sudden release of stress which has slowly built up along the fault time
What actually happens is that waves passing out from the point of origin set up vibration that cause vertical and lateral movements leading to violent shaking on the earth surface. At time, this shake may trigger of volcanic activities and eruption
Over years the world has witnessed hundreds of minor and major earth quakes. The eastern part of the world particular has had frequent cause and cases catastrophes causing not only the other properties but also loss of human lives. It should be remembered that in 1995 for instance the city of Kobe in japan was hit by major earthquake and over 4800 people lost their live.
Here in Tanzania on 10 September 2016 kagera region way hit by an earth quick with a magnitude of 5.9. As a result, seventeen 17 people died 440 people were injured and estimated 117,721 people lost their homes.
