Emmanuel Mutinda
I was born in a poor background in a village in Nairobi streets. I grew up with bad boys who influenced me and I started stealing things from people and also my parents. I did this up to class five and later to come to my senses and stop the bad behavior. We then migrated to another village in Nairobi but still struggled in life where I grew up well.
The most difficult experience in life was when I lacked school fees and stayed home for two months. When I went back to school, I failed my examinations. I lost hope in myself and that was when I became influenced by bad habits I had. I learnt that I should not lose hope in my life because I would get influenced again by bad habits.
The moment I felt proud of myself was when I passed my examinations in KCPE. I worked hard and passed the test well.
The most memorable and happiest thing was when I saw myself entering the gate of my dream school. I was very happy that I kept that thing up to date.
My dream in life is to become a professional medical doctor in Kenya or even outside Kenya. I am going to put more effort into my studies and be serious in life in order to be successful.
I will help my family by building them a house and raising their living standards and also pay for my sister her school fees. I will help my community by treating people who are financial unstable for free and help the WEF by providing guidance and counselling.
I would like to improve the living standard in Kenya.
