My experience in life has been tough since the end of term one. Eating two meals a day was also another difficult experience and staying alone at home while others are still in school learning.
This issue of being sent home due to unpaid school fees is the most difficult experience I had in life. Staying at home doing nothing made me understand that education is important. I learned to seek help and not to give up on my dreams.
A moment that made me feel proud of myself was when I received my first term exam results in high school. Despite the challenges that I faced of being sent home, I had studied hard and I had good grades, I knew that even if I was at home, my hard work did not go unrewarded.
The happiest moment in my life was when I joined form one. Despite the challenges, I passed my standard eight exams and being able to continue with my education was a moment of pure joy.
My dream in life is to become a doctor so as to help those in need within my community. Due to the financial struggles, I am determined to excel in school. I will study hard, seek scholarships to support my education that will enable me to achieve my dream and have a brighter future.
Once I achieve my dreams of becoming a doctor, I will be able to provide my family with better health care and financial stability. In my community, I will start by conducting health care, health awareness and offering health education.
If I had power to change my country, I would work towards creating scholarship programs or being on the team, providing health care institutions, promoting health awareness campaigns, and helping any other child to have a brighter future or pursue his/her dreams.
