When I was going for my third term at primary school, my parents had little money to send me to school, not until my grandfather sent some money on top of what was required for school fees.
After third term, I was overjoyed at getting total marks of 365 and later called at a school in homa Bay County.
As the firstborn in our family, I would like to become a pilot in future by working hard in school and embracing togetherness so as to help each other. After that, I would continue paying for my siblings' education and also help the community through U-Tena so as to help other students in the community and become a role model to all.
I would like to change how the vulnerable students in the community are being seen by helping them through U-Tena and fighting corruption.

29th Feb 2024, was the start of the 2nd phase of term one. I felt like I never went for the holiday. The experience was just the same, nothing changed.
On 10th March 2024, a mega Christian Union(CU) rally was done in our school. I found it so reviving and encouraging. We were taught very inspiring bible teachings and also had a chance to interact with our neighouring schools. Many were saved, including me. That was the est religious experience.
On 19th March 2024- it was one Tuesday morning at 7:00 am when suddenly some of the students were running to the toilets behind the hall. I also followed them, only to realize that one of the form fours had committed suicide inside one of the toilets. It was quite a tragedy, thinking that one of the pencils I assisted him was bewitched. It was a shock to the whole school and Homa Bay school Committee.
20th March 2024, this was just a day before the end term ne exams could start. With the tragedy that had happened, principals from other neighouring schools giving tribute and advising students to always be free to share their issues and always go for guidance and counselling.
3rd April 2024. This was a day before we could go home. I was so exited and very happy on that day. I felt very nice, mostly because I have improved despite the challenges.
