Gregory Ong'ondi
The most difficult experiences I have had earlier in life are the rate of anxiety and depression due to fear of lack of school fees. The pressure of performing well academically was also difficult. Also, my parents cannot afford even fare when I am going back to school they must borrow from the people nearby and return later which is challenging.
Actually, as far as I can remember the moment, I became proud of myself is when I did my KCPE exams. No matter the pressure I was under during the studies I was able to exceed my target. I was targeting 350 but I got 367.
I have not yet met the happiest moment in my life since I have not yet achieved my goal and I have not accomplished my dreams. But at least when I got an admission letter from the school I wanted. I became very happy.
After achieving my dream of becoming a neurosurgeon I am going to assist my family financially, economically, mentally and spiritually. I will also support community organizations such as U-Tena. I will also mentor my younger siblings and make sure that they are also successful in life.
If I had the power to change my country, Kenya I would fight very hard and put many efforts in fighting corruption and make Kenya a corruption free zone. Thank you very much U-Tena. I hope you are going to help me to change my world and accomplish my dreams and goals.
