Rita Mbinya
I have had quite a number of experiences which I will only state a few. Some of them are my parents, especially my dad having to lose his job. Which was really unfortunate because of the struggle, but with this I have also had quite good experiences such as getting to meet great people such as David Mwaura during our prize giving day and also having to meet my academic goals in most of my examinations.
My most difficult experience is having gotten what I didn't anticipate for in my KCPE. I attained 382 marks which wasn't my goal. But this taught us we don't always get what we hope for and made me understand that failure is just but success turned upside down. We shouldn't fall and fail to rise again.
A moment I felt so poud of myself is when in High School I ranked first streamwise and also overall. I got to attend a primciple dinner and met David Mwaura with other girls for a talk.
My most memorable and happiest times were when I participated in a math contest with St Francis Mang'u and I ranked position 9. This was great because I got to compete against academic giants from national schools being that I come from an extra county.
My dream is being one of the renowned neurosurgeons in history of time. I believe working hard and smart putting much effort and doing much practice would do me good. I just need to think big.
After achieving my dream I would change my family's situation and status. I would also consider my community by helping in community development programs just like U-Tena. Helping schools, building hospitals, providing food aids since I have benefited from all these.
My county's economy, especially in the medical field since I am much interested in medicine. This is what I would like to change.
