Initially, I was living with both parents in Nairobi city but my father left us later. My mother used to send me away with my brother to look for money for our needs. I know what it means to lack because we could sleep in sacks of carrying refuse in the streets. One day, my mother told us that she was taking us to the village with my father's parents. She told a certain woman to accompany us but, on the way, the woman denied that she knew us. We were taken to the police station and later put up in an orphanage. One day a close relative came to the orphanage and took us home. My brother is currently studying in Butula Boys. I think I managed to work hard and I am now in secondary.
