Baraka Zacharia
My name is Baraka Zacharia, and I am fourteen years old. I study at Gyekrum arusha Secondary School. I was born in Karatu, on Gyekrum arusha Street. I am the first-born child in my family, which has three children.
I feel happiness when I am chosen to go to secondary school. It makes me very happy to learn and to be in a supportive environment.
Currently, I face difficulties because I struggle to get basic needs such as school uniforms and food. This period has been particularly hard for me due to these challenges, and it affects my happiness when I cannot meet my needs for school.
My future goal is to become a biology teacher. I see the importance of educating people about hygiene to prevent diseases like cholera in my community. I want to support my society by sharing knowledge about health and sanitation so that people can save their lives and live better. Studying Biology is important because it helps us understand our environment, and I hope to teach others how to stay safe and healthy.
One day I will be more kind to others by supporting their education and health services since I know how they face difficulties.
