Irene Njoroge
The experiences I've had earlier in life have mostly been pegged on my interactions with people. It has been a very interesting journey of navigating through life and self-discovery. The most difficult experience I'd say is knowing my identity in a world of conformity and mob mentality. Being bold enough to be different and separate you from the norm, exploring new things and making the most of what I have. The most memorable thing is when I gave my life to Christ. It is an unexplainable joy, a regeneration of oneself.
My dream is to influence the market place not only by bringing radical and revolutionary ideas but also making Christ better known in this space. How I plan on getting there is by following the blueprint that has been laid by Christ, which entails diligence, hard work and excellence in all I do. How I'd help my family and the community is by service in terms of solving problems that have been put aside due to the cost of solving them. I'd make these easily accessible to the people.
What I would love to change in my country is the economic status. With the right people, restructuring the economy, finding diverse revenue sources and creating a healthy environment for investing is very possible whilst incorporating modern market trends.
I'll conclude with: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. We rely on God's power and grace in everything we do and that is why we can do all things.
