Sylvia Nyambeki
I was born and raised in Nairobi County. I went to primary school where I managed to score 365 marks in KCPE. I managed to go to high school even though my parents were struggling to pay for school fees. I was sent home often just because of lack of school fees but thanks to the U-TENA youth organization for the support that they had given me through the high school period. I managed to score a B- in KCSE exam and was placed in Jkuat pursuing human resource management, though it was not my preferred major.
Being sent home for lack of school fees while others are studying made me work smartly in school whenever I got the opportunity so that I would be a useful person and a successful one in the community.
The happiest thing that has ever happened in my life is me leading in the school for KCPE.
My dream was to become an accountant but unfortunately my grade in math was low. I hope I will achieve my dream of studying for CPA during my four years on campus.
I am going to help my family by helping my siblings, making them live a life which they have never imagined. I'll give back to the community for the support I received. I would also give back to WEF for the support I received throughout my school years.
I would improve the education system so that to ensure free or affordable quality education for all levels so no student is sent back home due to lack of fees.
