In the beginning of my education, I wasn't able to pay the school fees on time. I felt bad and gave up on my studies. After becoming part of WEF, I felt proud of myself and studied hard and never gave up on life.

The difficult situation I had was when I had to shift from a university hostel to a rental house/room. It was several days ago but it was difficult because I didn't have enough money to pay rent. The hostel landlord forced me to move away from the hostel with harsh words and so on . Now I am in my room and I paid the rent for two months out of six months. I will make sure that I and my family work hard to support my rent and my life here at university.

I feel proud that WEF’s School Fund team continues to support me at university. Also I felt really proud of myself when I selected to join university level in a degree program. The memorable and happiest moment in my life was when I was selected to be a member of WEF’s School Fund member. I was really happy and it is a big memory in my life.

My dream is that I want to be a good teacher in my community. I will reach it through studying hard, attending all university programs and also by learning new things every day.

I want to pay back my family, community and WEF through helping my family raise my young sisters and brother, through being responsible for teaching them and contributing to their school fees I want to educate the community on issues of children’s education and encourage students to study hard in every level of education so as to reach their goals. The WEF family is my home. I will make sure that I work with WEF and meet with young students at the MMM center to encourage them and help them the solve different challenges they can have.

I would like to change the low standard of living by educating people to work hard, planting in their hearts that they should never give up on life and work and removing the spirit of dependence on government employment rather than on employing themselves.

Dear Students,
Happy Year of the Tiger!
During Chinese New Year, people are doing a lot of celebration activities. The main Chinese New Year activities include 1) putting up decorations, 2) offering sacrifices to ancestors, 3) eating reunion dinner with family on New Year's Eve, 4) giving red envelopes (money to kids) and other gifts, 5) and doing/watching firecrackers and fireworks. The tiger embodies courage and bravery, so the new year could symbolize resilience and strength — even in times of struggle. May the new year bring you new possibilities, new horizons, new success and new joys.

Dear WEF,
I am fine and i continue well with my study. I wanna share with you about science and technology in education .
Science is the systematically organized body of knowledge on a particular subject while technology refers to the tools that made from knowledge of science to solve real words problems to enhance effectiveness and efficience ; examples Tv, Radio, Computer and mobile devices like phone. Now days due to improvement of science snd technology in schools , Teachers use advanced way of teaching the learners( students) like E-learning, online Education and Mobile learning. There is negative and positive impact of intergrating technology in Education as follow ;-
- student dont need to gather in classrooms-positive impact
-Enhence learning when provide opportunity to learners to interact with learning materials- positive impact
- it's convinient - access materials at ant time - positive impact
-it encourage individual learning( selfishness)- negative impact
- increased potential cheating- -ve impact
- increase dropout of school - -ve impact and others .
Thank you all,
Yours , Diana p lyarua
