Sarafina Costantino
My experience early in life was my father's death and the hardship of being without him. My mother was a housewife. It was hard for her to start providing for the household needs all alone. The most difficult experience I had was when my mother was not able to pay for school fees when she was sick. She couldn't get care for her health situation because she couldn’t afford it. This felt very hard to me. None of our relatives was there for us. From this I learnt that parents will always s sacrifice their needs for their children and also that sometimes you can seek help from your relatives, but you can't get it easily.
The moment I really felt proud of myself was when I passed my form four exams and my mother was really happy about it. It was such a good thing for me. I even started to be proud of myself that I could make my mother happy. The happiest and memorable thing in my life is when I was chosen to join my secondary school. I was very happy to get to that school and I cannot forget that moment as it made my mother happy, too.
My dream Is to be a pharmacist and I can reach it through working hard and passionately. When I reach my dream, I would like to serve society with equity and I would like to be a help to my family and WEF as well. If I was given the power to change something, I would like to improve the welfare of society and serve those in need without discriminating against people according to their wealth situation, especially in the provision of social services.
