I am 17 years old and I study at Kent College. I come from a family of seven people, my three sisters, two brothers, my mother and myself. I am always eager to learn, and I am always striving to succeed in my life.

One of the hardest experiences I had in life was when my father passed away since at that time my family was facing a lot of financial challenges, psychological challenges and others. One of the most difficult experience I had in life was when my sister failed the final form four exams and failed to achieve her primary dreams ,this taught me to work extra hard so as to be able to reach my dreams.
The moment I felt proud of myself was when I got chance to join the WEF team and later to get a chance to study at Kent College.

My most happiest and memorable thing in life was when I passed my standard 7 exam with high marks, that I became the 1st in the ward and among the 10 best students in the district. Also I was happy when I passed my form four final exam with good division one. Apart from that my other memorable events was when I got scholarship from the world education fund and from Kent College.

My dream job is to become a doctor. In order to achieve this dream job I must be good in physics, biology and chemistry and I must work very hard in order to be good on these subjects. When I become a doctor I will be treating different patients and so ending people’s pain and diseases, so as to create a healthiest and happiest human race.

After I have reached my dreams I will help to donate some money for the students in the WEF, also I will support my family financially and in other ways. Also I will provide an outstanding service as a doctor to the people in the society.

If I have the power to change the world, the first thing I would like to change is the education system. Since education plays a crucial and vital role in the development of people and other sectors, As quoted by the former president of Tanzania Mwl. Julius Nyerere “You can not develop people but you must help them to develop themselves“ and the only way to help people to develop themselves is through education.

Dear Students,
Happy Year of the Tiger!
During Chinese New Year, people are doing a lot of celebration activities. The main Chinese New Year activities include 1) putting up decorations, 2) offering sacrifices to ancestors, 3) eating reunion dinner with family on New Year's Eve, 4) giving red envelopes (money to kids) and other gifts, 5) and doing/watching firecrackers and fireworks. The tiger embodies courage and bravery, so the new year could symbolize resilience and strength — even in times of struggle. May the new year bring you new possibilities, new horizons, new success and new joys.

Hello WEF team
I hope that you all alright and happy too, for me i am fine .Today i would like to share with you something about the blood test used in cardiology which accurately diagnose heart diseases; A simple blood test could accurately diagnose heart disease in 2 hours, according to new data published by life science company Prevencio.

Prevencio researchers and the Massachusetts General Hospital collaborated to develop a clinical and multi-protein blood test that could diagnose obstructions in coronary arteries, leading to the prevention of a heart attack.

The blood test, known as HART CAD, was tested on more than 900 subjects by James L. Januzzi, who is a practicing cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. The tests were done to detect obstructions of 70% or more in at least one major coronary artery.

The results of the test showed that the blood test was able to detect the presence of a coronary obstruction 90% of the time, which in turn was able to predict the risk of a heart attack.

“These are significant results which have the potential to establish a new standard of care and the potential to save millions of lives,” Jacuzzi, the lead author and principal investigator on the study, said in a news release. “With better diagnostic and predictive methods, we can aim to better diagnose coronary artery disease, initiate therapy and lifestyle change earlier and possibly prevent complications such as heart attacks, while simultaneously improving a patient’s quality of life.”

Coronary heart disease is the most common type of heart disease in the U.S., according to the CDC. It kills about 370,000 people a year and another 735,000 Americans experience heart attacks per year. Heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death in the U.S. High blood pressure, high cholesterol and smoking are the top risk factors for heart disease, and 47% of Americans have at least one of them.

The study also showed that Prevencio’s HART CAD test was more accurate than other tests including an electrocardiogram (ECG) or nuclear stress testing. Blood tests are also cheaper than the average $2,000 cost of a cardiac computer tomography (CT) angiogram or the average $47,000 cost of a cardiac catheterization.

The HART CAD test is being developed further to be able to test for the chances of someone suffering from a heart attack, stroke or cardiovascular death within 1 year of the test.

Prevencio is working on a standardized lab test for the HART CAD blood test and is on track to conduct FDA trials in 2018. It also plans to file for European and FDA approval in 2018–2019 and could be available for medical professionals as soon as 2019.
I hope i will soon hear from you anything
