My name is Eliza. I am living with my parents. My dream is to be a doctor. My life changed in 2010 when our father's business failed. To reach my dream to be a doctor, I will work hard and focus only on studying and I will pass my form 6 examination with division I.

The hardest thing I have experienced at school is when I hear other students talk about poor people in a negative way. When I hear that, I think it is discrimination. It is not our fault that we were born poor.

The thing I like mostly to do is pray to God. I do believe He is in charge of the universe and tries to help people to do the right things.
My happiest moment is when I am at school and studying hard because then I know I am working toward fulfilling my dream to become a doctor.

I thank The School Fund for supporting my education. Without their help I would never be where I am today.

Hi Students,
Hope you are all doing well. In the U.S., the students have just returned from one week Thanksgiving holiday. In California, the Corona Virus has become worse, so the government has limit the stores to be 25% capacity again. Most schools offer distance learning through Zoom or any other online platform. Most time, people need to line up outside before they are allowed to enter the stores. People can only get take out food from restaurants or eat at some outdoor dining places. When we go out, we are required to wear a face mask and stay 6 feet away from other people. We are glad that you are healthy and safe and that the Corona Virus is not as bad in Africa. We hope you do well in school and be healthy and happy!
