The experiences I can't forget are from when I was in primary school. I used to sell roughages and vegetables around the streets with my mother so that we can get some money for our needs.
The most difficult experience I had was when I was in form two. My mother got sick. She was unable to do anything so I was responsible for everything at home. I even skipped school sessions several times.
The moment I felt proud of myself was when I graduated my o-level studies. I thought it was a miracle because of the struggling with family issues during my studies.
The most memorable and happiest thing in my life was when I was chosen to be funded by WEF’s School Fund. I was excited and believed that everything with my studies would be fine because what was left to do was to study hard.
My dream is to be a nutritionist. To get there, I am struggling to work with everything I have to reach where I need to be.
After reaching my dream, I will work effectively on eradicating malnutrition in my community because it has become a major nutritional problem, mostly among children. Also the income that I will earn through my career will provide for the needs of my family. Most importantly, it will encourage other students to value the support they get from the WEF, work hard to reach their dreams, help other students, and be good role models. I will do whatever I can to support others.
I would like to change the eating habits of people. Health is wealth. What we eat determines our health and thus our productivity, because a sick person is not able to produce.
