I live with my parents and other family members. The most difficulty I faced in my life was when my sister was in a car accident and became unconscious. The happiest moments in my life are when all members of my family and community are happy.

I want to be a pilot because I like to fly to the sky. In order to achieve this, I am supposed to study hard. When I achieve my dream, I will help my family and community. For my family, I will give them basic needs and take them to a safe place. When I have power to change the country, I will build many primary and secondary schools so children can go and study there.

Dear school fund students

Guess what, I got my COVID vaccine shot already. I need to have one more shot on Wednesday. Then around early March I should have generated antibody to protect myself. I can almost see the light out of the tunnel. That is a great news.

Of course I still worry about the pandemic around the world. Prior to this pandemic, we humans have false conception that we can control our own destiny. Now we know this little virus can raise havoc in the world. We should be humbled by nature.

From reading your journals, I know you are all working hard, enjoying the learning. Some of you encounter some hardships. Life is full of surprises. I know many of you are religious. At time of hardship, religion provides great comfort.

Not much going on here. I am waiting for spring to bring flowers in the garden. Right now I am just busy cleaning the leaves from last winter.

Again, please do not forget to take a break to enjoy friends and families.

Until next time,
Indy

Hi everyone!
I am glad that you have returned to school after a holiday,
What are you planning to do this semester? , I know most of you want to achieve something big in this semester.

actually universities teaching timetable is quite different from your timetable so we had our class periods as usually while you were on holiday, but on Christmas most of us we were free so all WEF university students in Dodoma we met together at Morena hotel.

We had a chance of getting to know each other since other students were from Karatu in Arusha also we discussed matters related to our academic development and lastly we had a nice dinner together. in past years we were just like you but we focused and now we are living our dream, you can achieve more than us if you start working hard from this semester

Happy new year all!

Felix,

I wish you all best of luck and stay blessed.
Dear school fund students

Happy New Year! 2021 has to be better than 2020, don’t you agree.

I have to say that 2020 was not all bad. It provides us an opportunity to test our patience, our resilience and our kindness. Locked down at home was inconvenient to our life. Wearing a mask was not conformable, especially in summer. Not being able to be with family, friends can be painful. But in order to help control the pandemic, we have to do it, for our own good and also for our community. Most of us are doing it, but unfortunately some don’t. But such is life. Eventually the pandemic will be under control when enough people have been vaccinated.

I know you are all working very hard at school. Hopefully you are not too stressed out. Remember to take a break every now and then, listen to music, play some sports, and laugh with your friends. Ok?

Hopefully is will have been vaccinated when I write to you next time.

Please Take care!

Indy
Hello students,
Hope you guys are all doing well.
In the US, schools have just concluded and everyone here has finished taking their final exams. When do you guys take your final exams? I know it was around this time. Hopefully you all did well or will do well at your exams.
Sincerely,
Daniel
Hi Students,
Hope you are all doing well. In the U.S., the students have just returned from one week Thanksgiving holiday. In California, the Corona Virus has become worse, so the government has limit the stores to be 25% capacity again. Most schools offer distance learning through Zoom or any other online platform. Most time, people need to line up outside before they are allowed to enter the stores. People can only get take out food from restaurants or eat at some outdoor dining places. When we go out, we are required to wear a face mask and stay 6 feet away from other people. We are glad that you are healthy and safe and that the Corona Virus is not as bad in Africa. We hope you do well in school and be healthy and happy!

Hello Students,
Hope you all are doing well. I know you are all busy preparing for exams and are working very hard, and I commend your determination. Good luck on your exams!
Additionally, this Thursday is Thanksgiving, a holiday in the US. It represents a feast between Plymouth settlers and Native Americans hundreds of years ago. It also is a time to be thankful of everything that you have. Personally, I am thankful for having access to a good education.
What is one thing you are thankful for?
Sincerely,
Daniel
Dear All,
I hope you are staying safe and healthy! Here in California, the Corona Virus cases have surged and the Covit color code has changed from orange to purple. Purple, or Tier 1, indicates that the virus is widespread in the county — with more than seven cases per 100,000 residents or more than 8% of tests results reported positive over seven days. Red (Tier 2) indicates “substantial” spread of the virus, while orange (Tier 3) indicates “moderate” spread and yellow (Tier 4) indicates “minimal” spread of the virus in the county. Most children are doing 100% distance learning at home. They attend each class on line through zoom on their computers. It is very difficult for children to be sheltered at home and not to have any social interactions with other kids. We hope and pray that the Corona Virus can get controlled and the vaccine can come soon so that everyone can resume life back to normal. I hope that you all stay safe and healthy. Enjoy your school as most kids in California can’t even go to school. God bless you all!

Dear student,

Time flies, This year went by so quickly. It is almost the end of the semester or the school year for you. Most of you are either about to take your National exam or the end of year exam. I wish you all will do your best and perform well. "Education is the passport of the future". Only you can control your destiny. Good luck no matter what you do. Pray to God to guide you along your way.

There were so many things that happened this year. There were presidential elections in both Tanzania and the US. In your country, the election went well. In the US, we still have issues with our election results, and we hope these will be resolved soon. COVID-19 has been really bad in the US. We have more than 1M people affected and many have died. It looks like the vaccines will be available soon, but it will take time to make enough for everybody. We are all looking forward to the year 2021. We wish for a better year ahead of us.

On a happier note, it is the holiday season now. Next week is Thanksgiving in the US. We thank God that everything good that has happened to us this year. Remember always to be thankful and appreciative. Then by the end of December it is Christmas and people exchange gifts. Children are very happy to get the gift that they wish to have. Then the New Year comes along soon after.

I wish that you learn more and be smarter than the year before. I wish you happiness, health, and that your wishes and dreams will come true.

Here autumn is just passing through and winter is coming around the corner. The weather is getting colder and colder every day. I would like to show some of our fall photos. Hope you like it.
Dear students,
I heard some of you have already done the national exams and some of you are about to take the exams. I just wanted to wish you the best in doing the exams. I know that you have worked really hard for the exams, and I do hope to hear the good news from you regarding your exam results. May God bless you!

Hello Everyone,
Thank you for sharing about the election in your country. We are also in the middle of presidential election in the U.S. I pray for peace in all the countries especially during the election time. It is okay for people to have different opinions about the candidates that they support, but it is not okay to have hatred toward each other. Let us agree to disagree and pray for peace around the world.
