Lucy Dibondo Nyongesa
Lucy is a young girl in form two who is determined and working hard to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer despite the challenges of lack of school fees and other basic needs. She encountered a lot of challenges in raising school fees to go to secondary school and on several occasions Lucy has stayed at home without going to school due to lack of school fees. It has forced her to start a business of selling sugarcane to raise money for the fees. When given opportunity to be in power in her country, she will fight corruption and ensure girl children are given equal opportunity.
