Stephen is a form two student who is struggling to raise his school fees due to the humble background he comes. He stayed at home for a month before joining school due to lack of school fees and school uniform. He is determined and focused towards achieving his goal of becoming an electric engineer. Despite the struggle he has gone through, he managed to get 367 marks out of 500. Stephen feels happy when he is in school. When given chance to be in power in his country, he will fight corruption and improve the country's economy to lower the high cost of living.

Mfumo wa mmeng'enyo wa chakula (pia: mwanya wa chakula
viungo mwilini mwa binadamu na mamalia wengine vinavyofanya kazi ya kuingiza
chakula mwilini, kukisagasaga, kukisafirisha ndani ya mwili, kukimeng'enya, kuondoa lishe ya mwili ndani yake, na kutoa mabaki nje ya mwili. Kwa hiyo mfumo wa mmeng'enyo wa chakula ni njia yote kuanzia mdomo hadi mkundu.
Magonjwa yake huchunguzwa na elimu ya gastro-enterolojia .
Kwa lugha nyingine unahusika na umeng'enyaji wa chakula mpaka kuwa katika hali inayoweza kusharabiwa na mwili. Ili chakula kiweze kutumika mwilini, ni lazima kivunjwevunjwe kiwe katika hali rahisi ya kuweza kusharabiwa. Kazi hiyo hufanywa na mfumo wa mmeng’enyo wa chakula. Mfumo wa mmeng’enyo wa chakula wa mwanadamu hufanana na ule wa sungura , panya au pimbi . Sehemu kuu zinazohusika katika umeng’enyaji huo ni kinywa , umio, mfuko wa tumbo , ini ,
mfuko wa nyongo , utumbo mwembamba , kongosho , utumbo mpana na puru.
Chakula kinaposafiri katika njia yake hufanyiwa mabadiliko ya kiumbo na ya
kikemikali. Kila sehemu ya mfumo wa mmeng’enyo wa chakula ina kazi maalum. Chakula cha mnyama au binadamu huweza kuwa cha kabohaidreti/ wanga ,
protini, mafuta au mchanganyiko wa viambato hivyo. Myeyuko wa makundi hayo ya vyakula hutokea katika sehemu mbalimbali za njia ya chakula kwa njia za kemikali.
Mmeng’enyo kinywani
Kinywa ni sehemu ya kwanza kupokea chakula. Chakula kinapokuwa mdomoni huvunjwavunjwa na kusagwa na meno au kwa lugha nyingine husagwa
kimekanika. Mate husaidia kukilainisha. Ulimi husaidia kugeuzageuza chakula hicho na kukiviringisha kuwa tonge.
Meno
Meno huvunjavunja chakula kuwa vipande vidogovidogo wakati wa kutafuna na kusaga. Hivyo chakula huwa katika vipandevipande ambavyo huongeza eneo zaidi kwa shughuli za umeng’enyaji zinazofanywa na vimeng’enya vinavyopatikana katika njia ya chakula. Vilevile meno husaidia kufanya chakula kuwa rahisi kumezwa.
Mate
Mate ni mchanganyiko wa maji, uteute na kimeng’enya kinachofahamika kama
salivary amylase au ptyalin . Kazi za mate katika umeng’enyaji ni kama ifuatavyo:
Maji yaliyo katika mate hutumika katika kuyeyusha chakula.
Uteute wake hulainisha chakula kiwe rahisi kumezwa.
Kimeng’enyo chake ( ptyalin au salivary amylase) hubadili wanga/ kabohaidreti kuwa sukari rahisi ( maltose).
Ulimi
Ulimi huzungushazungusha chakula kiwe kama tonge. Kwa msaada wa ulimi, tonge hilo husukumwa kuelekea kwenye umio (kwa Kiingereza huitwa oesophagus ). Chakula kinapoingia katika umio, huelekea kwenye mfuko wa tumbo . Vyakula rojorojo hupita kwa haraka zaidi kuliko vyakula vizito.
Mfuko wa tumbo
Chakula huhifadhiwa katika mfuko wa tumbo . Mfuko huo una uwezo wa kupanuka wakati unapopokea chakula na kusinyaa unapokuwa hauna chakula. Chakula huwa katika tumbo mwa muda wa saa tatu hadi nne . Muda huo hutegemea aina ya chakula. Chakula cha kabohaidreti, kwa mfano uji wa [mahindi]], huwa tumboni kwa muda usiozidi saa moja . Chakula cha protini kwa mfano nyama , huweza kukaa tumboni kwa muda wa saa moja au mbili.
Katika mfuko wa tumbo, kuta za tumbo zina tezi ( gastric glands ) zitoazo misusumo ya gastriki ( gastric juice ) ambayo huwa na asidi ya haidrokloriki, uteute na kimeng’enya. Vimeng’enya vinavyotolewa tumboni ni pepsinogen , prorennin ,
