The most difficult experience in my life was when I needed fees and money to buy the supplies needed to go to school. I felt so disappointed. The lesson I learnt from this is to never give up and to do my best to achieve my goals. The moment I felt very proud of myself when I got my examination results. I was so happy to see my results. I dream of becoming a neurosurgeon one day and to get there, I need to do my best in academics. I want to help my family to have a better life one day. If I had power to change my country, I would improve living standards of people in slums, help the disabled and the needy, and ensure that love and peace are in Kenya.

I hereby as a student of star of hope secondary appreciates the concern towards my academics .You have supported me because I have been in school the whole term.
I t hasn’t really been easy to be a day scholar it has been challenging since I had to balance both education hours and other duties at home have been always optimistic towards my future life and focus on studies I had a mean grade of C+ I will work hard to perform better.
Life in school is good but somehow tiring as a result of long hours in studies because of coming national examination.
Thank you so much for the scholarship may God keep you well and continue with the generous work of empowering and helping youths
TO WORLD EDUCATION FUND.
It’s a great opportunity for me to write this essay note to you. I’m thank full for the great support you have been providing me with. I’ve not had any school fee issues in school for the last term, thanks to the scholarship programme ,which has really helped students in Viwandani.
Schooling for the last term has been fine but not as usual as it was due to few changes due to the global pandemic. The last term has been challenging for me especially after being out of school for almost a year, this long holiday affected a lot of things especially the economy, destroying most of jobs making great loses to our parents jobs and it has affected our studies which has pulled down my performance from a B+ to a C-.I’m working hard every day to improve in my studies and looking forward to do my best in my K.C.S.E EXAMS.
I promise to improve next term. I totally appreciate you for your tremendous work , continue with the same spirit. Thank you.
Receive my greetings with a vote of thanks. I appreciate you for the support you have been providing us with. I also hope you are fine and god’s grace is upon you. May he shower you with his blessings as you continue to empower and help more bright students.
I have been okay during this holiday due to the outbreak of the virus because I have not been affected by it, indeed it has harden our lives here, especially when my parents salary has been decreased because it has affect our economy as well. Io have been doing my revision at home and doing my studies here at home.
Thank you for the Christmas gift you gifted us. I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 Have a nice day 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Dear World Education Fund, I am very happy to write down this essay story. I am very grateful for the scholarship programme which has enabled me to be in school for the last two terms. I am also thankful to be enrolled in this programme.
This year was running smoothly but due to the outbreak of the covid -19 pandemic we have not been in also school for almost one and a half month. It’s saddening because we won’t be in school next month. The disease has ruined the country’s economy, our parents’ jobs and now we are not in school.
I am glad because I have not been affected by the virus and I am thankful to the almighty God for keeping us safe and sound. I hope you are safe too.
I have been studying at home, hoping this nightmare will one day come to an end and get back to our normal life. The pandemic has made some of our lives here difficult. Some students are studying online which is not affordable to other students in the country. We can’t even attend U-Tena sessions which were helping us with our homework assignments.
In school we were not able to do our end term exams due to the sudden outbreak, but we did our mid-term exams. I improved compared to the last midterm exams. We did not cover all of our syllabus, but I hope all will get soon after the pandemic. Thank you for your support and keep safe.

Dear student,
Welcome back to school. I just want to say hello to you. Remember we are thinking about you. I hope this new year you set a new goal, you would like to achieve.
Meanwhile, remember to read as much as you can. Most of the knowledge you learn is from reading.  Write a couple of sentences a day.  It is nice at the end of the day to think about what you have accomplished.  It is a very good skill you should have. If you have good writing skills, it will benefit you all your life.
My friend wrote an entry to a student journal.  I thought it is so great, I would like to share it with you.  I hope we could work on these three things to make each of us a better person.
1. Respect other people's opinions even they are different from your own.
2. Experience the joy of learning
3. Touch someone's soul with your kindness.
Thank you for your continued support. My Holiday has been cool. I look forward to work harder next year in form two.
