Lydiah Maina
My most difficult experience was lack of enough school fees. I learnt never to give up. I felt proud of myself when I scored high marks in the national exams. My father bought me prize to congratulate me. My dream in life is to become a doctor, I will work hard and ensure the safety to my family. I will build them a house and help them to start their own business. To reach my dream, I will get there by avoiding bad company. If I had power to change my country, all I would like to do is avoid corruption and make Kenya a patriotic country. I would also discourage tribalism.

I am Lydiah Wangechi from Star of hope secondary school. I hereby want to thank the world education fund through the u-tena youth organization for your scholarship. It has benefited me under various circumstances. I will keep up and work hard to my best to make you shine and not let this opportunity pass. Actually mine is to thank you for everything taking part in some of my academic fees, since my parents have been able to put up a business to earn a living .May you be blessed and not go down to any obstacles This is the only chance to achieve my dreams and career.
I have faced so many challenges and difficulties in my high school life. It hasn’t been so simple to me since the entry of my form two learning , it has been tough , because I faced so many things since it was difficult to work hard in scoring an exiting grade .My parents complained about but I had nothing to say.I just stood firm in front of them to apologize and promised them to take up to my plans and never get influenced again.
Secondly since the covid-19 period,it affected so many things like the budget and even learning .When schools were closed until further notice ,some students would find it difficult to learn simply because not all of them were able to learn through internet and get revision materials or even assignment from teachers. But all will manage with the grace of the lord. May you be blessed more and more. Thank you very much for your support and wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous happy new year.
