Life is not easy as my mother struggles to raise me. Most painful part of it is that I have never seen my father as they divorced when I was 2 weeks old. I have just grown up under the care of grandmother who took the responsibility of raising us. Having just a meal in a day is very common for us; but with this struggle I managed to score 313 marks in the primary national examination. I desire to become a doctor who will offer free medication to many suffering children. I hope one day my dream would come true.

I partly enjoyed my holiday since the situation at home was not that favourable. All the same I am grateful to God because I did not lose any of my family members. Famine and sickness were the talk of the day. 2 kgs of floor costs 2.5 dollars, this is too much for us to afford as a family. We depended and ate a heavy meal once a while. Flue was all over the house, coughing, and sneezing but we got healed. It could have been the worst holiday ever since I started studying were it not for my friends company, Leah, Eunice and Joy. Often, they would call me for studies and also a meal. My friends have generous parents who would give me sweet potatoes and 1 kg floor of floor for porridge. We engaged in revision of history, CRE and mathematics. The reason we chose History and CRE despite being referred to as boosters by many is because we noticed that many fail them during final examinations, I guess it is because of over-excitement. We wanted to be sure with then concept even as we get ready for final examinations. We revised papers for Samia joint examinations and as I weighed myself after revision, I am confident to pass my examinations. Since our teacher of English taught us that all work and no play makes jack a dull boy, we engaged in local games such as adoma as we are fond of calling it in our local language and a bit of hide and seek just to our minds relaxed. We also spent time sharing of the future we are expecting and the career paths we want to choose.
