I'm a new University student, taking a diploma in pharmaceutical sciences.
When my mother passed away, I was in the examination room doing the form two mock examinations. She was the only one who looked after me and my young brother. My heart was broken. I didn't know how my life was going to be and how I could take care of my young brother. This was the most difficult time I ever had in my life. As the days went on, I learned that I could pass, despite my challenges.
This made me realize that no matter what challenge comes, there is still a way to overcome it, even though it can break your heart.
I felt proud of myself when I was elected by many students to be a head prefect in school government and lead them to achieve their goals. I managed to lead about 700 students with other school leaders very wisely.
The day I was selected to be sponsored by WEF's School Fund is the all-time memory in my life. Honestly, I was so excited and it made me very happy. I felt it was the best way for me to reach my future dreams, and through WEF, I see success very soon ahead me. Thanks to this organization and all who are responsible for helping me in one way or another.
I am ambitious to become a pharmacist in Tanzania. I'll reach there by working very hard and having faith and hope everywhere I go and in everything I do. Then I will be able help my family by providing all basic needs to my siblings and all relatives who need my help. WEF is a family I won't ever try to run away from. After I have my salary, I'll be supporting my young brothers and sisters who are in need of a better education, as I was before I reached my dreams. I'll also use my profession to serve the community and provide advice to those who are going in the wrong way.
I was thinking that if one day I become president of this country or hold a high position, I could change the system of education by considering each student's talent and dreams. I could lead them in ways which keep them focusing on their dreams and talents to make sure they reach success.
