Lisa Lymo
I am 17 years old. I have never seen my father although he is alive so I was taken care of by mother and she is also the one who pays for my needs and my school fees. My interest is in being a doctor so that I will be able to treat all those who suffer from different harmful diseases. Also, I want to fulfill that dream in order to influence all other girls like me with their parents leaving them without any help that they should not lose hope but just struggle for achieving better.
In my school life I ran into different obstacles that sometimes I even wanted to declare that I shouldn’t keep on studying and one of those is when my mother faced some illness and was unable to pay for my fees so that I could go to school but this motivated me that I should keep on studying hard so that I can achieve my goals and later to help my family.
Something that someone did to me and made me thankful is when I was in form one and I suffered from different diseases but my headmaster knew about my ability in academic performance and helped me to be joined in The World Education Fund; For real I didn’t expect to be in this but at least it was able to happen, It also made me grateful because my mother could then be able to afford some of my needs and family needs.
Therefore, I have learned to struggle hard in life so as to achieve better in my life and be able to help our world.
