In our family we are five, two sisters and three brothers. My real parents died and I was adopted by a couple who raised me to where I am today. Through this I've learned that being an orphan does not mean the end of life. I am happy and it's the most memorable time in my life.

I will make sure that I work hard so that I can become a doctor and help treat people in my country. I was so proud when I passed my interschool exams. My mother congratulated me and even gave me a prize. It made me happy. I always want to do better so that my mother can be proud of me and my achievements.

Hello Students,
Hopefully you are all well. I would like congratulate all of you for all the hard work you have been putting on your studies and exams. Most of you are now on summer break from the studies, try to relax and explore different things to keep you engaged.
Well done to people who have finished their A levels and are on process of applying to universities , for some of you, these are hectic times as you are trying to pick something that you are passionate about but at the same time fits with what you have been studying, please don't hesitate to contact Felix or Mr Amos if you need guidance.
I would also like to leave you with something interesting that I learned from one of my modules. Something called the Dunbar number. This is a suggested cognitive limit to the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships—relationships in which an individual knows who each person is and how each person relates to every other person (the limit is about 150 people) . This was developed by a British anthropologist Robin Dunbar, who found a correlation between primate brain size and average social group size. I understand that we always meet a lot of people through our course of studies but I will just like to remind you, that now you on your holidays don't forget to keep in touch and maintain your social groups or be brave enough to embrace new ones.

Have a nice week,
Issaya
