When I was sent out for lack of school for fees, it was the most difficult experience of my life. Nobody was there to support me since we were not financially stable. At home, there was also no food to eat. We used to sleep hungry. All the money we had was used to cater for my young sister who was suffering from asthma. Our parents are self-employed, so the little money we had was used to pay the hospital bills. I learnt that life is not easy, and we should learn to take it how it is.
I felt proud when I passed my examination and pleased my parents. I was proud because I surpassed most of the students. I never expected to. It motivated me a lot. It made me believe in myself and I knew that I could make it.
The happiest moments in my life were when my ill sister got well, although not fully, and when I was able to go back to school. That is why I don't want to waste any opportunity. Opportunity comes once in a lifetime and time wasted is never recovered. I also hope to be happy after my studies in university and in helping my parents overcome all their problems. It would be my pleasure to help students facing the problems I endured.

I have a dream of becoming a cardiologist. Since I was young, I have had the same dream. I have a strong desire to become what I want because I really want to help society. I am determined to reach there through my studies and hoping all will go well with me and having faith. I will work hard and smart in order to achieve my dreams and goals.
After achieving my dream, I will be happy to help everyone, especially my family, by giving them a better life. It would be my pleasure to serve the community and WEF by giving them the best services. I would also like to save more lives.
What I would like to change my country are corruption, early marriages, and female genital mutilation. They don't impress me.

Once again I want to thank the world education fund for the support offered. At home am doing well since I don’t have to do much work for the school fees. I am stress free and that has allowed me enough time to read at home. It has helped me that I am going to make it. during the corona period, dad lost his job and I had to chip in to help him to pay my fees together with my siblings. But after your help am now okay and dads’ money is used to pay for my sisters’ fees. Thank you so much and please continue supporting us because you are helping so far and changing lives of may people.
