Mary Njoki Kamau
It was difficult for me when my parents lost their jobs.
I felt especially proud of myself when my KCPE results were out and I saw that I had high grades in my favorite subject, that is, English.
The happiest moment in my life was the day that I entered high school.
My dream is to become an independent woman who is able to provide for her own needs and does not need to depend on other people to provide for her. I'm going to achieve that by working hard in school and getting the best grades I can.
After I reach my dream, first I'll build a rehabilitation center for all those kids that I see throwing their life away just because of drugs. Then I'm going to build a school for the kids who are unable to raise school fees and therefore forced to stay at home while others go to school.
For my family, I'll make sure my siblings finish school and become successful in their careers.
In my country, I would like to change lives in the slums and stop drugs traffickers who use young kids to traffic the drugs for them.
