Fidelis Muriithi
I am brought up in a nuclear family together with my siblings where the importance of hard work and strong morals were instilled in us at a very young age.
The most difficult experience in life has been seeing my parents not being able to cater for the school fees of both my sister and me. I learnt from that that I should aim to work hard to be able to help my other siblings and other children who are bright and willing to study.
The most proud moment in my life was when I joined university because that has always been a dream for me and also the first stepping stone to achieving my dreams.
My dream is to become an accountant and be able to support my family as well as give back to the community.
If I had power to change my country I would ensure that education is completely free up to tertiary level because a lot of people want to study but they are not financially able.
My quote: 'The roots of education are bitter but the fruits are sweet.'
