Joanne Wanjiku Waweru
Life was good but my father left us when I was almost going to class8 and my mother was taking care of us.
When I was about to join form 1 and my mother was sick and my father was alive but he didn't want to support me. I learned I must put more effort into education so that my family cannot suffer anymore.
I felt especially proud of myself when I had passed my KCPE exam and was selected to join my dream school.
The most memorable and happiest thing in my life was when I joined form 1 in my dream school and made friends there.
My dream is to be a mentor in my community. I will reach my dream by studying hard and putting more effort into my exams.
After reaching my dream, I would help young ones, support my community in every way that I can, especially the needy ones.
If I had the power to change my country, I would like to fight corruption so as to help needy people like us get their rights and reach their goals.
