I recognized myself living in Mukuru Kwa Reuben being grown-up by a single mother. I tried to look for the truth about my father but even my relatives could not tell me what was also difficult for my mother. I lived with much sorrow in my heart seeing my mother struggling a lot to pay for our school fees and feed us although she had no work.
My most difficult experience is when I reached home and found out that there was nothing to eat, but my mother did not lose hope, she continued praying and striving to find something for us to eat. I also faced a lot of difficulties when I was sent home for lack of school fees, while my fellow students were learning. I knew that not attending school will lower my performance in exams. I had neither books nor revision materials at home.
I felt proud of myself when I found myself defeating my fellow students in exams while they were in school at the time I was at home doing small businesses like selling bananas on the streets in order to get some extra money in addition to what my mother got to assist in paying off my school fees.
The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is that I joined secondary school which I believe is the bridge to my success.
My dream is actually to be a lawyer so that I can fight for the rights of vulnerable people. I will get there by studying hard, praying to God, and also implementing this in society and at school.
After I reach my dream, I will be so proud of WEF. I will support my family financially and change their lives. I will also support my younger siblings by paying their school fees and ensuring that they are successful in life. In my community, I will make sure that justice is done to all even those who have no money to bribe in this corrupt country of ours. I will also join WEF for great support by participating in funding other students to reach their destinies.
If I have the power to change my country Kenya, I will ensure corrupt leaders are sacked out of governance.

I am okay so far but the journey is not that easy because it has been a challenge for my mom to pay for me fear each and every time because the terms are very short. It has been a challenge to me also because I cannot get enough time to settle in school and at home is not a suitable place to study due to a lot of noise from crowds of people campaigning
Nowadays Out there and with this shanties we are living in .I hope that soon everything will back to normal and we will enjoy enough time in school.
