Before I did my KCPE our house was burnt and we lost everything, we sought help from the neighbor who offered us somewhere to sleep and other essentials.
The most difficult experience in life was sleeping hungry and even lack of school fees. Sometimes I could be sent home for weeks.
The moment that I felt proud of myself was when I managed to score 362 marks in my KCPE. Out of this I managed to bring fame to my primary school which had earlier had poor records of performance.
My dream of my life is to become a psychologist. I will manage all the obstacles to achieve my dreams. I also know that no fate can destroy a determined mind. I am going to make it if I get support in school fees. Poverty is the real challenge in my dreams.
After I reach my dreams I am going to buy land for my family, empower and motivate children in the ghetto who have given up due to poverty and also become a well-wisher of the WEF.
If I had power to change my country, I would declare education free in Kenya. To create a good field for the future generation, where our country would be developed and educated, never will our country be called developing but developed.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the almighty God for this great chance of being one of the beneficiaries of U-Tena. I am affected by the short academic year despite having a lot to be covered. I am frustrated by the one-week holiday which has brought about a lot of confusion more so among the students. We are starting a new topic but on the next day a holiday. Teachers have been forced to create extra time during morning and evening preps, leaving little time for the students to have personal reading. This has led to dropping. On the other side, my mum has been sick for a while causing me to be stressed. During the holiday I was left home taking care of mum. No matter how hard I tried to concentrate but it was all in vain. The other challenge am facing is a lack of revision materials. To the U-Tena youth organization, I promise to prove myself on the next exam. I also promise to work hard toward achieving my dream. Thank you.
