MY ACADEMIC JOURNEY OVER THE LAST TWO SEMESTERS
The last two semesters have been some of the most challenging periods of my academic journey. Learning has not been easy for me, and I have faced both academic and financial challenges that made my studies more difficult. There were many moments when I felt overwhelmed, discouraged, and uncertain about whether I would be able to successfully complete my studies. Despite all these difficulties, I remained determined to continue with my education and do my best.
During the first semester, I struggled to keep up with some of my academic work. Some subjects were difficult to understand, and I had to put in extra effort to follow the lessons and prepare for examinations. At the same time, I experienced financial difficulties, which added to the pressure I was already facing. Meeting some of my basic academic needs was challenging, and this sometimes affected my concentration and ability to study comfortably. However, I tried not to allow these challenges to stop me from pursuing my education.
The second semester was also challenging. I continued to experience financial struggles while dealing with the demands of my studies. There were times when I worried about how I would manage certain academic expenses, and this created additional stress. Balancing my financial situation with assignments, classes, revision, and examinations was not easy. There were moments when I felt tired and discouraged, but I reminded myself of the importance of completing my education and building a better future.
Despite the difficulties, I continued attending classes, completing my assignments, revising, and making an effort to understand the subjects. I had moments when I doubted myself and wondered whether I would be able to pass my examinations. However, I chose to keep going instead of giving up. The challenges taught me to be patient, disciplined, and resilient.
One of the greatest achievements for me was managing to pass my examinations at the end of the two semesters. Passing my exams meant a lot to me because I knew the difficulties I had gone through to reach that point. It showed me that even when circumstances are difficult, determination and hard work can make a difference. My results gave me renewed confidence and encouraged me to continue working towards my academic goals.
I am also grateful for the support that has enabled me to continue with my education during a financially difficult period. Having the opportunity to pursue my studies has given me hope and motivation to keep working towards my dreams. I do not take this opportunity for granted, and I am determined to make good use of it.
