Being the first born at home I had to take care of my siblings while my mother was sick at hospital and father was the one worked to sustain us. It was difficult for me and my siblings to live without the care of our mother.
The most difficult experience I had in life was when my mother was sick and laid in bed and couldn’t take care of us, instead we grew all alone as children. No one was there to care for us, our aunts and uncles isolated themselves. We grew only with the care of our father while our mother suffered cervical cancer.
I felt proud of myself when my mother congratulated me after the KCPE results were announced.
The most memorable and happiest thing in my life was when we all celebrated National Holidays as a family with my mother and siblings while at home and at the parks.
My dream is to become a nurse and care for the sick at the hospital and to achieve my goal I have to have education.
After I reach my dream I would help the community to care for the needy, the orphans, the sick and the mental and physically challenged.
If I had the power to change my country I would first change the country by helping the orphans, the needy and the street children by educating them about U-TENA Youth Organization.
