The experiences I had in my life was the death of my father when I was still young. Then some years later I learned of his death. The most difficult experience I had was when my mother was sick and I had to take care of her and at the same time go to school, there I learned that family can take care of each other.
The time that I felt proud of myself was when I performed well in my KCPE exams, being that I never performed that well in the internal examinations.
The most memorable and happiest thing in my life happened in the year 2021 when my mother recovered from her illness and started supporting me in my education.
My dream in life is to be an architect.in doing so I will be able to improve infrastructure like building strong houses, roads and bridges in the community to help those who are unable to use them. I will get there by improving my grades so that I might secure a position in university and get to do a course in architecture.
After achieving my dream, I will help my family by providing basic needs to them and my relatives. I will help the community by mentoring youths around me to know the importance of education. I will help the WEF by giving back financially to help the youths.
If I had power to change my country, I would like to change the matter of corruption since it has increased leading to no jobs for the youths, making them commit crime and die at a young age.

This term has been both challenging and rewarding in unexpected ways. I began with a C– grade, and through effort and persistence, I managed to raise it to a solid C. While this may not seem like a dramatic improvement, it represents progress in a short span of time, especially given the circumstances. The syllabus was long and demanding, and the term itself was short, requiring me to cover a lot of material quickly. I did not participate in any extracurricular activities, which meant my focus was entirely on academics. Even so, the pace of learning was intense, and I often felt pressed for time. Despite these challenges, I was able to grasp more of the content than before, which contributed to my improvement. This experience has taught me that progress is possible even under pressure. Although I did not achieve a higher grade, the shift from a C– to a C shows that persistence pays off. It also highlights areas where I can grow further: better time management, deeper engagement with the material, and perhaps balancing academics with activities that strengthen skills outside the classroom.
In summary, this term was a test of endurance. I may not have excelled, but I moved forward, and that is something to build upon in the future.
Journal Entry – Kanga High Reflections
I received my exam results and scored a C plain. At first, I felt disappointed because I expected more from myself. But after thinking deeply, I realized it’s not the end—it’s a chance to improve.Academically, I struggled with subjects like Biology and Chemistry. I tried to revise, but I wasn’t consistent, and at times I let distractions take over. I now understand that I must take my studies more seriously and manage my time better. One thing that really stood out for me this term was science fair. Being part of the science fair team gave me joy and purpose. Participating in the fair was tough, but I enjoyed every moment on the field. We worked as a team, supported each other, and even made it to the regionals competitions. I’ve gained confidence, discipline, and new friendships through the science fair. However, I realized that I focused too much on the science fair and ignored my academics at times. I need to find a better balance. Next term, I plan to create a study timetable, attend group discussions, and ask for help when needed. This C plain is not a failure, but a lesson. I want to grow, both in class and on the field. I believe I can do better if I stay focused and disciplined. This is not the end of my story—it’s the beginning of a better one.
