Financial strains and uncertainties were what I experienced, I learnt to be compassionate, opening my eyes to the hardships of others resilient being confident to face future obstacles with much strengths.
Hardship can force students to confront who they are and by surviving hardship and building strengths and tackling another bigger challenge and staying away from class from lack fees.
One of the instances was when I felt really proud of myself is when I did my KCPE examination and passed and then got a chance to join national school.
The most memorable and happiest thing Is being the top student of my former school and attained the high grade that ushered me to a national school.
My dream is to be a doctor by working hard and loving my family and community by helping the vulnerable in society by forming charitable organizations.
If I have the power, I will fight corruption and poverty and eradicate diseases by improving health care services and providing better education system in society. I will put measures to fight corruption and also supporting the needy.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the scholarship in the beginning of my form Two,I say thank you and may the good lord bless you.
As I proceed with my journey of secondary education I carry the inspiration, values, and believing in me,from the lessons learnt from my primary school, when U-TENA had mentorship programs, Actuallythey were beneficial to me.
The transformative programs had inspired me to dream big, reach and aim higher and strive for success.
I shall cherish the good memories and the deeds of U-tena for enabling me continue with my studies un interrupted. I promise to pay back positively to the less fortunate students from informal settlement and the slums like me,whose parents struggle to make ends meet. And other vulnerable communities at large.
Thank you for investing in my education and being a pillar of hope ,placing people's needs before yours is a rare virtue.
May God bless U-tena and the donor partners, iam committed to post good results and make the organisation proud.
With sincere appreciation .
