Brown Kimaro
My name is Brown Elisante Camaro. I am 15 years old and live with my father and siblings. My mom died in 2022. My dream is to become a civil engineer.
The moment that was so challenging in my life was when my mother died. To be honest, this experience taught me a lot of things, like being confident and resilient in my dreams, making sure that I focus on my studies so that I can achieve higher, and being able to help my father, who supports my family and my other brothers by himself and the relatives at large.
My unforgettable happy moment was passing my exams, which allowed me to join The School Fund family, through which my dreams would come true. This marks a good start for supporting my family because it was my vision. Also, through the kindness of this family, I promise to volunteer for The School Fund for upcoming students and for some of the responsibility to give out my appreciation.

Here’s something new about medical profession that i would like to share with you
The Hidden Power of Sleep in Healthcare

In the fast-paced world of healthcare, sleep is often underestimated—both by patients and healthcare professionals. While medicines, surgeries, and technologies take center stage, sleep quietly plays a critical role in healing, immunity, and mental well-being.

Research has shown that proper sleep enhances wound healing, improves immune response, and helps regulate vital hormones. For patients in hospitals, disrupted sleep patterns can delay recovery, increase stress, and even raise the risk of complications. For healthcare workers, lack of sleep leads to burnout, reduced focus, and higher chances of medical errors.

Yet, sleep is free, natural, and universally available.

Simple interventions like dimming hospital lights at night, reducing noise levels, and educating patients and staff about sleep hygiene can make a huge difference. Encouraging short naps for healthcare workers during long shifts can also boost alertness and performance.

As we continue to innovate in medicine, we must not forget that sometimes, the most powerful healing tool is rest. Sleep is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. It’s time we gave it the attention it deserves in our healthcare systems.
