Jones Mutua
Lack of school fees , it has been a great challenge to me because my mother is financially unstable to pay for me and my sister who is in form four. Lack of enough food is also a difficulty I have faced in my life. Clothing sometimes becomes a problem because my mom can’t afford to cater for all the needs alone and she is unemployed. Sometime my friends laughs at me when they see me with torn clothes and I feel very much uncomfortable. Through all these challenges I pity my mother when I see her got all these problems.
The most difficult experience was loss of my father, I have learnt that having both parents is very vital in one’s life unlike when you have one parent.
I felt proud of myself when I checked my KJSEA results and found I had excelled with “Exceeding Expectation”.
The happiest thing was the day I was selected and placed in a national school.
My dream is to become a doctor, I will attain this dream by working hard and smart.
After I reach my dream, I will help my family financially to ensure I brighten their future as a way of appreciation. I will also support the community and ensure I attend to all those who are in need of my support without discrimination.
If I had the power, I would help the poor/needy after my graduation and starting my career. I will ensure there is affordable medical care. I would work hard to fight for free education, ensure needypeople have enough food in the community.
