Because of these health problems, I was only able to go to school for three weeks in the whole term. I also missed the mid-term exams while getting medical care. By the time I went back to school, my classmates were far ahead in the lessons, which made it very hard for me to study for the end-of-term exams. On top of that, our school had a strike, which stopped learning again. Even with all these hardships, I decided to go back and sit for my final exams because I wanted to try my best.
I know my exam results this term might not be as good as my sponsor and I hoped. I feel sad about this because I always try to do well for my future. Missing many classes and exams was a big setback. I do not use my sickness as an excuse, but it was a real struggle. Still, I am happy that I did not give up. Going back to complete my exams gave me strength. This term showed me that good health is very important, and it taught me to have patience and trust God.
In the coming term, my main goal is to go to school every day without missing classes and read all the work I missed so I can prepare well for my Grade 10 national exams. I promise to work harder so my marks can show what I am truly able to do. I am very grateful to my sponsor for supporting my studies and believing in me. Their help gives me a chance to reach my goals, and I will keep doing my best.
