After resuming in school for second term,l had a very tough experience.The first two weeks went just fine.
One Saturday night,the high-schoolers began causing a tantrum mainly because they wanted to go home and did not want to do the exam.On Sunday morning the Chief Principal of the school released us claiming that we wanted to strike.Since my mother did not have fare for me to come to Nairobi,she sent my uncle to take me to my grandparents in Kisii.I stayed with my grandparents for three weeks and resumed to school on the 29th of June. During the days we spent at home we had missed a lot and were encouraged to work hard to catch-up with the syllabus.l realised that the strike had affected our learning and we needed to pull up our socks and prepare for the exams and the projects sent by KNEC.The experience taught me to utilise every opportunity l get to learn and make the best out of it.
