Emma Ochieng
My experience has been tough over the years, navigating school and supporting my siblings education has been tough for me since I did my form 4. My early life was not easy either, being raised by a single mother together with my 3 siblings made life so hard to the point of not attending my high secondary school properly.
To not achieve my expected grade at form 4. It came with a lot of setbacks, and I learnt that giving up is not an option, everything is possible with determination. Im now undertaking my degree course.
When I enrolled in my degree course, it was my dream, and seeing it comes truly made me proud of my effort over the years.
Working with U-Tena Youth Organization made me happy and I HAVE GROWN MY career for 3 years now.
My dream is to graduate from a university- Consistency in paying the fees and sourcing for my fees will help me achieve it.
To my family, Ill continue making my mom live comfortably. To community, working in an informed community has been my goal on matters of health, in which I actively take part in community awareness initiatives. An empowered community is a resilient one and future secured, in which my role in World Education Fund at U-Tena drives at that, making me proud. I would like to fund more students to reach their goal in life.
Ill create a workable policy that favors education to all at a free rate.
Life is what you want it to be; if you think positively thats where youre headed (a life full of positivity).
